Birthday gift

Oly not rollingOly is still trying to get the hang of this birthday thing. Today on her forth month b-day she gave poppa the gift of rolling over. Kim was in the shower, so the score is 1 to 1. Since poppa missed out on Murrow’s first flip.

First tummy time

Turns out that Oly is crazy-buff for her age. Its hard to tell in these photos, but she was lifting her head and doing push-ups…she even attempted a one handed push up, which only resulted in her first turn-over (off the pillow).

Heading home

It just seems silly to have something this small barreling down the roads.

Babye Curse

These photos clearly show (just look at that arrow) the Love family curse of being baby-boy-rific is broken.  Now I finally have someone to share my Spice Girls and Christina Aguilera dolls with.

Hello Olympia.

It hasn’t been a secret that Kim and I were hoping for a girl for our second child, not the least because we had a leftover girl’s name that we were dying to use…Olympia An Love.  For a brief while it was An Olympia Love…but that seemed a bit overkill.

Olympia is because that’s where Kim and I met and powered through more than our fair share of Oly stubbies (thanks Uncle Two Belts).  We like the idea that from birth our little Oly will have a neon sign that lights up with her name.

An is Kim’s old first/middle name, its the part that got dropped off when she changed her name after we got married.
